ABALONE RESOURCE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA HARVEST STRATEGY 2021-2026 Version 2.0

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking comment on the draft Abalone Resource of Western Australia Harvest Strategy 2021-2026 Version 2.0.

The publication of a harvest strategy for an aquatic resource makes decision making considerations and processes publicly transparent and provides a basis for informed dialogue on management actions with resource users and other stakeholders.

Harvest strategies contain specific objectives, performance indicators, reference levels and harvest control rules for each defined ecological asset.
