Perth Beachcombers Education Kit

The Perth Beachcombers Education Kit includes activities, worksheets and other related resources of interest to  parents, children, community groups, teachers and anyone interested in beachcombing.

The development of the kit was funded by Coastwest (a State Government initiative providing opportunities for Western Australians to learn about, conserve and protect our coast) and the Western Australian Planning Commission. We also were grateful for the support of our community partners – Friends of Marmion Marine Park, Padbury Senior High School and many other supporters, including the Western Australian Museum.

One of the most popular resources from the kit is the Beachcombers Field Guide. The guide can help you identify and learn about a range of plants and animals often found washed up on the beach. It is free to download from the Perth Beachcombers’ Education Kit website.
