Marine Waters

If you are a student, educator or member of the community looking for a range of great marine education resources, our Marine Waters website provides a range of award winning materials.

Marine Waters (Western Australian Teacher Education Resources) is a curriculum-based marine education resource which includes lesson plans, student worksheets, fact sheets, posters, articles, case studies, presentations and games.

Marine Waters is a joint initiative with Woodside Energy.

Learning more about the marine environment leads to greater understanding and awareness.  An informed community is essential.

To achieve a growth in environmental awareness and behavioural change, it is vital that people understand the science driving many of the decisions made by natural resource managers; that’s where Marine Waters plays a key role.

Teachers are also welcome to attend our professional learning sessions to learn how Marine Waters complements our Community and Education programs at Hillarys and around the state.
