Have your say on demersals

It’s time to have your say! A two-phase consultation process is underway for West Coast Demersal Scalefish Resource management proposals, to ensure there are stocks of pink snapper and dhufish for future generations.

Phase one is a survey, open from 4 until 29 April, run by peak recreational fishing body, Recfishwest.

We encourage all recfishers to put forward their ideas and views on future management arrangements to Recfishwest to support the recovery of this important resource. Complete the Recfishwest survey.

For more information on the full West Coast Demersal consultation process, visit our dedicated web page.
