New look for WA's Fisheries and Marine Officers.

If you're out fishing or boating, don't be suprised that our Fisheries and Marine Officers (FMOs) look a little different.

There's a reason for it - since early November 2007 all of our FMOs have been wearing a new uniform.

The new uniform features a distinctive badge on both upper shirt sleeves that identifies the officers as Department of Fisheries WA Fisheries and Marine Officers.

Our fisheries laws help us keep fish stocks sustainable and marine resources protected for present and future generations.

Our FMOs are empowered to enforce those laws for the benefit of the whole community.
