  • discovered in Western Australia during 1984, off Fremantle and in Cockburn Sound
Habitat
  • in Western Australia found only on wharf piles below water surface
ID Features
  • 3 cm when actively crawling
  • broad foot tapers to long, narrow tail
  • translucent body and foot, upper half covered with pale fawn to bluish white speckles
  • long oral tentacles, twice length of rhinophores
  • pale blue streak extends from rhinophores down each oral tentacle
  • narrow cream streak with central brown hairline extending full length of tail
  • cerata arranged in four to eight horseshoe-shaped arches and have conspicuous blue and orange rings
