Australia Invasion
- discovered in Western Australia during 1984, off Fremantle and in Cockburn Sound
Habitat
- in Western Australia found only on wharf piles below water surface
ID Features
- 3 cm when actively crawling
- broad foot tapers to long, narrow tail
- translucent body and foot, upper half covered with pale fawn to bluish white speckles
- long oral tentacles, twice length of rhinophores
- pale blue streak extends from rhinophores down each oral tentacle
- narrow cream streak with central brown hairline extending full length of tail
- cerata arranged in four to eight horseshoe-shaped arches and have conspicuous blue and orange rings
