Help for Downloading and Viewing Documents.
If after download or viewing the document in your browser, you only get a blank page, or the error "Bad Encrypt Dictionary" this is indicative of an earlier version of the reader software. It is recommended that you update the software on your computer.
Please Note: if you have a PC that is running a Windows operating system earlier than Windows 2000, you will need to download Acrobat Reader version 6. We recommend downloading the PDF you wish to view onto your PC's desktop or to a temporary directory and then opening it directly using the Acrobat Reader software (i.e. not through the medium of any user interface).
If you are not connect to the internet via a broadband connection it is recommended that you use the method detailed below. This will stop the PDF file from loading into your browser which can take longer than a normal download on certain computers. This method is highly recommended for documents over 1 Meg in size.
If you wish to download this PDF document to your computer and read it later do the following:
- Clicking the right mouse button (in Windows) or Ctrl+click the mouse button (in Macs) on the links above.
- From the resultant menu select:
"Save target as..." (Internet Explorer) or
"Save link as..." (Firefox).
Please Note: You will require a current version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the PDF version of these documents. The current version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is available free from here.
