Eva Lai

​Ms Eva Lai has more than 15 years of experience in the field of data control and data analysis. 

Her role in the department involves maintaining the quality of data collected from commercial and recreational fishers, consolidating various data sources, conducting statistical analyses and providing statistical advice. In particular, she provides data as required for experimental design, statistical analysis, sustainability reports, policy development and strategic planning.

Currently Ms Lai is in the survey team of the Stock Assessment and Data Analysis branch, assisting with survey design, implementation and data analyses. A State-wide telephone diary survey (I-Survey) is being undertaken and boat ramp creel surveys are being implemented.
