FISH RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994

Invitation for public comment – open until 27 August 2012

Public comment is invited during the next 21 days on an application made pursuant to Regulation 176 (1) (b) of the Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995, for Kenneth Owen to translocate: 20 Cherax quadricarinatus (redclaw crayfish) from Kayan Road, Theebine, Queensland; and 100 Scortum barcoo ( jade perch) from Ausyfish Pty. Ltd., Childers, Queensland; to a closed aquaculture system at 10 Whelk Place, Mullaloo, Western Australia, for the purposes of commercial aquaculture.

Public comment is invited during the next 21 days on an application made pursuant to Regulation 176 (1) (b) of the Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995, for the Department of Fisheries to translocate: Oncorhynchus mykiss (rainbow trout) fry from the Pemberton Freshwater Research Centre, Pump Hill Road, Pemberton, Western Australia, to waterways in the south of Western Australia:

Albany Coast Catchment; including King River, Mill
Brook, Phillips Brook;

Warren River Catchment; including Big Hill Brook, Quinninup Brook, Smith Brook, Dombakup Brook, Treen Brook, Lefroy Brook (below the dam and above Five Mile Brook), East Brook, Wilgarup Brook;

Donnelly River Catchment; including Carey Brook, Beedelup Brook, Barlee Brook, Record Brook, Pine Creek, Manjimup Brook, Dampier Gully;

Blackwood River Catchment; including Carlotta Brook, Balingup Brook, Hesters Brook, Maranup Brook, Mokerdillup Brook, Nannup Brook, St. Johns Brook, St. Pauls Brook, Geegellup Brook, Norrilup Dam;

Collie River Catchment; including Brunswick River; Collie River (below the dam);

Harvey River Catchment; including Waroona Dam, Logue Brook Dam, Lancaster Brook, Falls Brook, Mcknoes Brook; and

Murray River Catchment; including Big Brook, Nanga Brook, Waldeck Brook, Logue Brook, Davies Brook, Marrinup Brook, Cypress Form, Oakley Dam, Serpentine River, Gooralong Brook;

and Salmo trutta (brown trout) fry from the Pemberton
Freshwater Research Centre, to:

Collie River Catchment; Collie Gorge;

Harvey River Catchment; Harvey River; and

Warren River Catchment; Treen Brook, Smith Brook, Dombakup Brook, Five Mile (Big Brook), Lefroy Brook (below the dam);

for the purposes of stocking for the recreational trout fishery.
