Fisheries Christmas and New Year closure

Fisheries offices in Perth and regional areas will be closed during the Christmas and New Year break, from Thursday 21 December 2017 until Monday 1 January 2018 (inclusive).

Recreational fishers can still apply for or renew their licences on our website at any time. Similarly, commercial fishers can apply for or renew their licences online at any time.

If you prefer to visit one of our offices, please come and see us well in advance to allow time for processing licences before the closure. Remember you can no longer purchase a licence from our head office at 140 William Street at any time.

While waiting for your plastic licence to arrive in the mail, you may fish provided you can produce a receipt issued online or at one of our offices.

A number of services will continue to operate throughout the period including FishWatch and PestWatch. Shark sightings should be reported to Water Police on 9442 8600.
